CARRY-ON BAG
We strongly encourage all singers/students to put their concert attire, shoes, black socks for boys, black tights for girls, in the C-Notes garment bag, which can then be folded and placed in a carry-on bag.
The C-Notes travel duffel bag loaned to the students is NOT required for travel. You may use your own carry-on bag, backpack, or check-in luggage.
On previous NYC trips, many students used the C-Notes travel duffel bag as their carry-on item.

Harmony Tours apologizes for the confusion as American Airlines did a flight number and time change for our group. Your e-ticket(s) show the correct information.
From Harmony Tours: “Some airlines' apps and websites have limited or inconsistent reliability when it comes to managing group bookings prior to arrival at the airport.
You can find more information about specific airlines and their app and website functionality here. https://www.go2harmony.com/group-airline-faqs
I'm sorry that I don't have a more concrete answer, but just like flying as an individual, working with airlines can at times be a difficult process with limited options.”
SEATS ON THE PLANE
Although we submitted the flight manifest grouped by families, unfortunately, the airlines did our group bookings alphabetically and assigned seats this way.
Families with different last names are seated separately. However, do not fret. Our group has a large block of seats.
Once everyone is on board, you can switch seats on the plane to be with family, or students can sit with their friends.
Mrs. Rohrs has taken groups to NYC many times in the last decade. Seating has worked out once on the plane.
The chaperones and other parents are more than willing to accommodate seat changes within the group.
HARMONY TOURS WRISTBANDS
All tour participants (land only and with air) will receive an orange Harmony Tours wristband to identify them as part of the C-Notes tour group.
For “with air” participants, wristbands will be given out at LAX when you check-in with Mrs. Rohrs (flight #1) or Mrs. Gunter (flight #2).
For “land only” participants, please check-in with Mrs. Rohrs/Ms. Eaton at the hotel or at dinner on the first night.
“LAND ONLY” PARTICIPANTS
Since you made your own flight arrangements, you are responsible for getting your own transportation to and from the NYC airport/hotel.
E-MAIL TEACHERS
Remind your student to communicate with teachers ahead of time to let them know about his/her upcoming NYC trip and Carnegie performance.
Coordinate with teachers regarding homework and schoolwork.
STUDENT SIGN-IN and SIGN-OUT at LAX and NYC
Please contact Ms. Heather Eaton by text at 818-518-4469 for any updates and/or changes regarding your student’s sign-in to and sign-out from chaperone care.
HARMONY TOURS STUDENT BEHAVIOR GUIDELINES
Students have already signed a Chaminade behavior trip contract. However, please review the attached guidelines from Harmony Tours with your student.
RESTAURANT/DINING RESERVATIONS
Please remember that only those who are registered in the tour package (“tour participants”) are included in the group dining reservations.
If you are NOT on the package, YOU may not sit with the group or make reservations with the group.
From Harmony Tours: “Parents calling vendors directly to request reservations can cause issues with the number of guests a restaurant (or other vendor) is expecting and can create confusion. When we book with restaurants, specific employees are in charge of reserving large blocks. When parents call directly, they speak to hosts or servers that might not have any idea of the full picture of a group booking. To be clear, anyone not traveling with your group on the Harmony Tours trip cannot join any reservation at any time. If they decide to be at the same place as the group they must sit separately and pay the regular pricing, not the discounted group rate that are confidential and proprietary.”
CARNEGIE HALL
Carnegie will take an archival recording, which will be given to Mrs. Rohrs at a later date.
No photography or video – no cell phone pictures while at Carnegie Hall.
Please note that Carnegie Hall uses facial recognition to catch guests who do not adhere to these rules. A $15,000 fine will be imposed to the choir.
PHOTO VISION APP
Instructions and an app card were provided at the March 8th parent meeting.
Students may pick up instruction cards from Mrs. Rohrs in the music room. The same info is below.
